A New Path Forward

Following Emmalyn’s recent surgery by Dr. Grant at Duke University Hospital to repair a spinal fluid leak, we’ve reached a crossroads necessitating a shift in Emmalyn’s care plan. Based on medical advice considering Emmalyn’s current condition and safety, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue participation in Dr. Pascal’s treatment program.

This decision comes after careful consideration and discussion with Emmalyn’s medical team, who advised that the best course of action is to focus on her recovery post-surgery, given the unique challenges posed by her condition.

Continued Journey

Emmalyn’s recovery remains our top priority, and for the next 6 weeks, she will be recuperating in North Carolina under the close supervision of her care team. This period is crucial for her healing, and we remain dedicated to supporting her every step of the way.
